Waleed El-Nahal, Msc, MD, FRCS, EBOT.

Dr El-Nahal trained in Cairo University Hospitals from 2008 to 2014 and was awarded a Masters degree and Doctorate degree in Orthopaedics and Trauma.

From 2014 to 2022 he trained and worked in several top-ranked orthopaedic institutions in the United Kingdom, including the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, Royal Berkshire in Reading and North Bristol NHS trust.

During his training, he focused on hip surgery, and acquired a special interest in young adult hip surgery, including keyhole surgery of the hip and osteotomy surgery around the hip. He has extensive experience in treating pathologies of young adult hip diseases including hip dysplasia, hip impingement, labral tears around the hip joint, and avascular necrosis of the hip.

He is active in orthopaedic research. Research topics include orthopaedic trauma, pelvic trauma and hip diseases in young adults and in the elderly. For a full list of publications and scientific contributions please visit his page on research gate.

Dr Elnahal is actively involved in scientific research, both in Egypt and in the UK. Focusing on hip surgery, pelvic fractures and orthopaedic trauma.
